This release was sort of a sampler/best of/companion to Wound LP that we made for our Winter tour in 2010. Rob and Marty both feel that the demo versions of Convenient Outs, Sure Enough, and ...Hand are the definitive recordings of those songs and probably shouldn't have been re-recorded for the LP. The 3 new songs should have gone on Wound, too, but they weren't practiced enough.

Amanda played bass for this era of Silent Way (August '09 to May '10) but only appears on 2 recordings due to her living in NYC at the time.

Adrian was our drummer for that Winter 2010 tour and appears on the non-demo tracks.

The CD was packaged between 2 pieces of pegboard held together by bolts and nuts, including a wingnut that one would have to remove to get at the actual CD.

The "I" in Wind is long... like wine... but with a dee. Get it? Wound/Wind.
